Carruthers Landscaping is a landscape construction business located in Burlington, ON. We serve clients all over the Golden Horseshoe. Our goal is to create a truly unique outdoor space that exceeds the expectations of our clients. We create customized designs that include outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, water features, and beautiful gardens.

We are looking for hard-working and positive individuals to join our team as a Landscape Foreman (Team Leader). Team leaders are responsible for all aspects of a wide range of construction projects, including pool surrounds, woodwork, soft-scaping and more.

 

Job Title: Landscape Foreman (Team Leader)

 

Landscape Foreman’s Hours: 7 AM – 5 PM (increased and decreased as needed)

 

Work Location

• Yard in Burlington, ON

• Jobs located across the GTA

 

What will you be doing?

• Overseeing, motivating, and inspiring up to 5 crew members on a given job site

• Delegating tasks to crew members in order to improve efficiency

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive work environment

• Adhering to tight timelines and producing beautiful results

• Speaking with clients in a polite and professional manner

• Participating in the construction of landscape projects (patios, walkways, fences, decks, pergolas, hardscape features, & gardens)

• Driving a truck

 

What are we looking for?

• 2-3 years of experience within the landscape or construction industry

• Experience with heavy equipment (i.e. excavator & skid steer)

• Strong work ethic and a self-motivated attitude  

• Good time management and problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude with an emphasis on organization, communication and punctuality

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions

• Valid Drivers Licence with a clean drivers abstract

• Must have reliable transportation to our yard location, located in Burlington

 

Job Start Date: Immediately 

 

Compensation: $23-$25 per hour

 

Job Type: Full-Time (Seasonal)
